Mimecast - Permitted Senders

This support article is for AntiPhish customers who want to whitelist our simulated phishing emails with Mimecast.

The following steps will create a permitted sender policy within Mimecast. This will allow emails to bypass Mimecast's powerful anti-phishing defences.

1. Log on to your Mimecast administrator area.

2. Click on the 'Administration' button.

3. Click on Gateway/Policies in the menu. Then choose 'Permitted Senders' from the list of policies.

4. Click on 'New Policy'. Then choose the policy settings from 'Options > Emails From > Emails To > Validity sections.

5. When asked for a source IP, please provide 142.93.32.36

 

Example Settings

Policy Narrative: AntiPhish Permitted Sender

Permitted Sender Policy: Permit Sender

Emails From 

Addresses Based On: Both

Applies From: Everyone

Specifically: Applies to all senders

Emails To

Applies To: Everyone

Specifically: Applies to all Recipients

Validity

Enable/Disable: Enable

Set policy as perpetual: Always On

Date Range: All Time

Policy Override: Tick this box

Bi Directional: Do not tick this box

Source IP Range: 142.93.32.36
